Make a film in any category using green screen techique. This allows the student to make a world without restrictions. Anything is possible. The school environment does not have to be in the film at all. We show the kids how to think and plan with the language of film. Then when they got the hang of the software, they are free to be creative.
We encourage and help where needed on the way to the finished film. Using green screen it is possible to be standing on the moon, being a giant or a clone. It makes it more fun since the school environment doesn’t have to be in the film. The participants learn story boarding, film language and editing. They can use videos or stills as backgrounds. The students can make a film with or without dialoge on any subjekt. History lessen played out? Funny scenes, dreams.
Using their own iPads Darryl show the kids how to build their own music tracks on GarageBand.
They can even record vocals if wanted. They finish with listening to each others music and have a little dance party w popcorn. Possibility to make a music video to their own tracks on the workshop below.

Learn to shoot, sync and edit your own music video. Both with green screen and conventional camera shots, create your own music video, learning how to direct, camera operation, and overall sense of working in the genre of film.

Learn how to film dance and how to edit to enhance the choreography. Dancefilm is so much more than documenting. You can jump anywhere in space and time to get a message trough without any words.
Learn how to make a film about a subject that you want to put focus on in real life. Interview techniques, the importance of sound in film, editing, sources, research, voice over etc.
The first day we go trough what documentary film is. We look at film language and different types of documentaries. What is trusted sources and how can the camera be a weapon for and against democracy. We talk about tips on interviewing somebody for the film.
The second class they start making their film (groups of 4-5)
The third and fourth class is filming and editing. Some are finding musik, picking graphics and editing while some are filming and sound recording.
When the film is done we watch and analyze it and Linda will list possible steps to finance film projects for youth.
Darryl goes trough the software so the students can produce their own tracks. He has long experience in recording song on Logic.
Learn R.A.P. (rythm and poetry) with Darryl. Learn song structure, grammar techniques, timing, and substance within the workshop. Students will write and perform an original rap composition in whatever language they choose.
